This is an Acer Aspire 9800 series computer. It has a 20.1" (1680 x 1050) display (yes, a HUGE display), Intel Core Duo 2.16 GHz processor, 2 GB DDR2 RAM (Expandable), Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 3D graphics card (256 MB), 240 GB storage (2 x 120 GB) RAID-capable drives (yes, RAID capable), HD DVD Burner, 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, Webcam, Great speakers, Lots of ports (Firewire, AV input, Infra-red, coaxial, external HD TV antennae, USB's, and more), modem, multi-card slot reader, and probably more that I've missed!
The computer has been securely wiped of all data, and factory reset to it's original condition. It has a legitimate version of Windows XP, Media Center Edition. All patches and updates have been installed. It will be like you're buying it new for the first time (except that it's completely updated with new drivers downloaded directly from the Acer website). It also comes with every accessory that was in the box when purchased new, including the manual. This computer is flawless and has been taken care of well.
This giant laptop just fits in my carry-on for air travel, measuring in at 18.7" x 13.9" x 2.4" in size. It also weighs a hefty 17 pounds! This is a portable desktop!
This laptop has been in Aircon all the time (as I can't stand doing computer work in the heat), with the exception of the rare day that isn't amazingly hot.
The original price in the USA a year ago was $2500. I'm selling it for the first 33,000 Baht FIRM. That's about $950.
