ใช้ VI แล้วเกิด error

ผมใช้คำสั่ง vi ( unix editor ) แล้วมันฟ้องแบบนี้แต่พอ login root แล้วใช้ได้ปกติครับ
ex/vi: Error: Unable to create temporary file: Permission denied".
ไม่ทราบจะแก้อย่างไรครับ

ให้ลอง chmod 777 /tmp ดูนะครับ อาจจะเป็นเพราะโปรแกรมสร้าง temp file ไม่ได้
