รายละเอียดโครงการ Mobile Applications Developer
TA Orange โดยความร่วมมือจากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และ Software Park Thailand เปิดรับสมัครนิสิต นักศึกษา เพื่อเข้าอบรมโครงการ Mobile Applications Developer ผู้ผ่านการอบรมจะได้รับประกาศนียบัตรซึ่งจะได้รับสิทธิพิเศษในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในโครงการอื่น ๆ ต่อไปในอนาคต
หลักสูตร J2ME Developer มุ่งเน้นให้เป็นการให้ความรู้ตั้งแต่เบื้องต้น จนถึงเทคโนโลยีใหม่ ๆ ที่สามารถนำไปใช้ในการออกแบบ หรือพัฒนา applications ได้จริง ให้กับนิสิต นักศึกษา ในเขตกรุงเทพฯ และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ระยะเวลาการอบรม 5 วัน โดยไม่ต้องเสียค่าใช้จ่ายใด ๆ ทั้งสิ้น ทั้งเป็นการเปิดโอกาสให้ นิสิต นักศึกษา ได้เรียนรู้ อันจะขยายผลไปสู่กลุ่มนักพัฒนาโปรแกรมอาชีพต่อไป

- ในกรุงเทพที่ Software Park (Thailand) ระหว่างวันที่ 20 - 23 ตุลาคม
- ในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือที่ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ระหว่างวันที่ 27 ? 31 ตุลาคม 2546

- Introduction to J2ME architecture covers configurations (CLDC, CDC) and profiles
(MIDP, Foundation, PDA, Personal).
Topic 2
- Introduction to Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) covers various aspect of
MIDP and API, packages and programming
- Introduction to MIDIet, MIDIet?s lifecycle, and MIDIet development steps
- Writing a simple HelloWorld MIDIet introduction to MIDP Development tools; Forte
for Java Mobile Edition, J2ME Wireless Toolkit
Topic 3
- Programming MIDP High Level Users Interface covers the Screen object, High level
API, Icdui package, Alert and Ticker, High level events with commands

วันที่ 2 : Topic 4
- Introduction to MIDP Graphical User Interface covers structure of MIDP user
interface covers the Canvas screen, UI?s based on low level API, draw text and
graphic directly on the device, Low level events
Topic 5
- Introduction to Database Programming using RMS ; a persistent storage for MIDIets
covers RecordStore object Manipuate RecordStore objects. Enumeration, filtering
and Sorting

- Introduction to MIDP Network Programming covers basic concept of streams and
connection management; CLDC Generic connection framework Exchange data over
HTTP using the HttpConnection interface.
