Italian police say they have arrested 12 people and broken up a ring of hackers that allegedly used cloned credit cards for purchases and scams online. Police said Tuesday the suspects were arrested in Rome and other cities. Another seven were placed under custody but not behind bars. Police say it is one of the largest such operations in Italy, including another 23 suspects arrested in May. The suspects are accused of working with criminal groups in Russia and Ukraine.
