It is shocking the percentage of my work that now relates to counterfeit software. I get calls on a daily basis from people who bought the laptops or computers with the dodgy copies of Windows or other software which are now causing grief. They always work for a while but since the systems can be generally unstable and updates usually can not be run on these computers, the are vulnerable to infections and security issues which in the long always results in costing the buyer more.
