What do I need to know? if I want to make a robot?

Do you have any suggest for me? I am very new for this field ,but I try to learn them as much as possible. thank in advance

Now, I'm just a newbie too but I have a little bit experient about this field. First thing that you have to do
1.Plan for your project what kind of your robot
that you interest.
2.Design your skimatic diagram,what material that u need for your project. (microcontroller, motor, stepping motor, motor driver,sensor)
3.Choose the most suitable language to write program for your robot.(Assembly language prefered for the beginner to make sure that you would be understand basic instructions of microcontroller architecture)
For the basic, cheapest and easy to transfer or flash data. I prefer MCS-51 microcontroller.You can find it at banmor market or contact to the seller.

You need to specify the duty of yout robot first.
Then...describe its characteristics you expected.
Mathmatical model maybe useful.
technical knowledge is the last step.

ก่อนอื่นคุณต้องหาตัวเองให้เจอก่อนว่า คุณอยากทำตรงส่วนใหนของ Robot กันแน่

เพราะศาสตร์นี้กว้างมาก
1. การสร้างระบบความคิดให้กับหุ่นยนต์ (โคตรยากเลย)
2. การสร้างระบบประสาทสัมผัสที่ไกล้เคียงมนุษย์ เช่นทำให้หุ่นยนต์มองเห็นได้ สร้างการเคลื่อนไหวของแขนที่ไกล้เคียงมนุษย์(ยากนะ เท่าที่จำได้แขนหุ่นยนต์ยังเคลื่อนไหวได้จำกัดอยู่ที่ 40 แบบโดยประมาณ แต่แขนคนไม่)
3. การสร้างความสามารถให้หุ่นยนต์ทำงานแทนมนุษย์ในส่วนที่เกินข้อจำกัดของมนุษย์

เท่าที่ทราบนี่เป็นส่วนหลักๆ สามส่วนในการพัฒนาหุ่นยนต์น่ะครับ แต่มันแตกย่อยออกได้เป็นพันๆ เรื่องเลยทีเดียว และแต่ละเรื่อง ก็สนุกและหินน่าดู

แต่ถ้าไม่มีพื้นฐานทางด้าน Hardware ก็คงแนะนำให้ทำข้อแรก ลองจากการสร้างโปรแกรมให้คิดและตัดสินใจได้ และเรียนรู้ได้ เพราะเป็นวิธีที่ประหยัดที่สุดและเรียนรู้ได้ง่ายที่สุด (แต่ต้องคิดอย่างหนักที่สุดเวลาทำ)
