I have a Pavilion TX2000 for sale. I went out of my way to find this model. It has a touch screen interface with windows home premium.
It has a high gloss finish with an Echo pattern, which also extends inside to the silver keyboard. Very sleek design. The mouse pad is part of the casing so it will never wear down, really good. It is still in new condition as it has never been carried anywhere.
The touch screen lets your finger do the navigating or there is a nifty slode out pen for taking notes or drawing. The pen is accurate and responsive as well. There is also a slide out remote which is brilliant for using as a dvd player or when you have a presentation at work. Altec Lansing speakers too, so watching movies or listening to music is great. There are buttons located on the screen also for ease of use like stop etc. In fact you dont even need to boot windows to play music you can use HP quickplay which accesses your library.
The screen automatically changes orientation when rotated into tablet mode. This is also handy for taking notes in the office/school.
I purchased this July 2008 for 43,000. I have been given a laptop with my new job so this one isnt being used. I dont want much for it really considering its specs - it is defintiely an entertainment laptop which I have hardly used it for.
It comes with the original restore disks i created which I can install so it is fresh for the new user, but it also has a recovery partition you can use it if need be.
