Offshore technical support
I need someone to work the hours of 13:00 - 21:00 (including an
hour's break). They will need to have the following skills:
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Basic technical knowledge to answer sales and support queries
- Fast learner
- Understanding of the Internet and how it works
- Basic understanding of Linux and control panels
Benefits:
After a successful 1 month trial (paid) for email based work, we will
pay for an Internet connection, computer and VoIP phone to be delivered
to their chosen location.
Responsibilities:
We would like someone to ease the workload from us in terms of answering
sales and support tickets. We do not expect all tickets to be answered
as some are complex, however these should be read, and a note added for
someone else to have a look (escalated).
As well as this we would like the candidate to be able to answer the
phone to both sales and support calls. Should any call not be possible
to answer then the call should be transferred to a senior member of
staff.
We would like the candidate to have a thirst for knowledge and to learn
on the job. We are happy to train them in all our products and services.
As experience and competence increases we will happily increase pay.
