การทำ Redhat 9 + Samba + Ldap ในตอนนี้ได้ทำส่วนของ ldap server start ได้แล้ว
แต่ยังเหลือส่วน ของการ ใช้ sambaไป authen ผ่าน LDAP โดยที่ Samba server เสร็จแล้ว คือสามารถแชร์ไฟล์ เครื่องปริ้น ได้แล้ว แต่ยังไม่มีการตรวจสอบสิทธิ์ของผู้ใช้ไปยัง LDAP server เวลาที่ client login ไปยัง samba server หากทำเสร็จแล้วจะนำมาให้ดูอีกครั้ง
ขั้นตอนการติดตั้ง Ldap

1.เข้าไปในไฟล์ vi /etc/openldap/slapd.conf

2.สร้างไฟล์ touch /etc/openldap/root.ldif ให้กับ "Manager" LDAP Server
3.เข้าไปในไฟล์ vi /etc/openldap/root.ldif
dn: dc=abc,dc=com
dc: abc
objectClass: dcObject
objectClass: organization
o: My ABC
dn: cn=Manager, dc=abc,dc=com
objectClass: organizationalRole
cn: Manager
4.ลอง test config file ด้วยคำสั่ง
[root@localhost ~]# slaptest -u
config file testing succeeded
[root@localhost ~]#
5.ทำการ Start Service ด้วยคำสั่ง
[root@localhost ~]# service ldap start
Checking configuration files for slapd: config file testing succeeded
[ OK ]
Starting slapd: [ OK ]

6.ทำการ Import users เข้าไปใน LDAP ด้วยคำสั่ง
ldapadd -x -D "cn=Manager,dc=abc,dc=com" -W - f /etc/openldap/root.ldif
Enter LDAP Password: ? ใส่ 1234
adding new entry " cn=Manager,dc=abc,dc=com"
7.ให้ทำการ Restart Service อีกครั้ง
[root@localhost ~]# service ldap restart
Stopping slapd: [ OK ]
Checking configuration files for slapd: config file testing succeeded
[ OK ]
Starting slapd: [ OK ]
[root@localhost ~]#
8.จากนั้นมา Test LDAP Server ด้วยคำสั่ง
ldapsearch -x -b 'dc=abc,dc=com' '(objectclass=*)'
9.คำสั่งใช้ในการตรวจสอบไฟล์ config ใช้คำสั่ง
slaptest -d 5
