HTC has reportedly told customers that the Desire smartphone will be getting Android 2.2, aka Froyo, within two weeks.The over-the-air update was initially meant to be with customers by today, according to rumours circulating the internet in May. This new rumour is based on an email HTC sent to a customer wanting to know when the update would be happening.Android@Modaco quote the email as saying: “Within the next two weeks HTC will release the Android 2.2 OS over-the-air. This will enable the latest version of Adobe Flash Player on your device and will resolve any existing issues.”
